Garnett & Beverly: Home

One of our two CDs has been completed and is in-hand. Garnett's solo project, "Right Here, Right Now" was delivered yesterday and is now available at CD Baby or at local performances. These are devotional songs that will move and quiet you. Five of the songs were first recorded for the duo project, but pulled aside for this solo CD. Six more of your favorite tunes were added to create this special disc. Some of your favorite players and singers came together (including our own Beverly Daugherty) to create a beautiful sound, and a special record. Rob Cook arranged quite a few of the tunes - you'll recognize his unmistakeable sound. Garnett will be presenting solo at a few local churches - so look at the Calendar for a venue near you. The fabulous Garnett & Beverly duo will also be performing together as noted in the Calendar.

We're off to sing for the Italians! We were invited to perform at the Seattle Sister City Festival in Perugia from May 28-June 3, so - of course we accepted. We leave late on May 22 and return on June 13 - to Garnett's new CD. The recording, the art, the mastered disc are off - and when we return, voila - like magic, we'll have CDs for you. It's called "Right Here, Right Now" - a title idea from Michael Oliver. These are quieter songs that will help you deepen your spiritual practice and allow you to stay there for at least 45 minutes!! It's true - I've seen it. Here comes the sun, the crocus, the cherry blossoms, the weeds, a flock of birds - it's spring. Oh, I spoke too soon - here comes the wind and the rain again. Ah well, it's all good - and all the juice of spring returns!!
Garnett is focusing on getting her solo CD project completed this spring, with Garnett and Beverly re-focusing on their project once the solo project is complete. With the light comes re-growth and energy and exciting possibilities and amazing discoveries. Enjoy this juicy time. Come play with us whenever the spirit moves you - and time allows.
